About the GenAI Team The GenAI (Generative AI) team is at the forefront of applying the latest advancements in artificial intelligence to optimize customer experience, streamline operations, and drive digital transformation within GPC. We leverage state-of-the-art AI techniques, such as natural language processing (NLP), and generative models, to create cutting-edge products and solutions. Position Purpose We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Senior Engineer to join our Special Projects team, focusing on the exploration and implementation of Generative AI and other innovative new technologies. This role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that leverage Generative AI. The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned software engineer with a passion for innovation and a track record of integrating Machine Learning and/or Generative AI into real-world applications. This candidate brings extensive experience in building scalable solutions across the technology stack, coupled with proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP). With a collaborative mindset, this individual thrives in a team environment, working closely with staff and lead engineers, the product owner, and data scientists to deliver high-quality solutions. Proficiency in Python for back-end development is essential, ensuring seamless integration across the stack. Experience with JavaScript is also valuable for building user-friendly interfaces. Excellent communication skills and a knack for problem-solving effectively contribute to the team\'s success by translating complex technical concepts into actionable strategies.
