Your Role and Responsibilities

Software Developers at IBM are the backbone of our strategic initiatives to design, code, test, and provide industry-leading solutions that literally make the world run today - planes and trains take off on time, bank transactions complete in the blink of an eye and the world remains safe because of the work our software developers do. Work with backend development team to continuously deliver features in SaaS offering.

Collaborate closely with other teams to integrate and deploy applications using DevOps methodology.

Learn and stay updated of backend technologies and trends.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Entry-level experience with any of main programming languages (go, C/C++, python, Java)

• Familiar with Linux operating system and command line tools

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Basic knowledge of git for software version control

• Understanding of REST API based architectures

• Familiar with containerization technologies like docker

• Familiar with container orchestration platforms like kubernetes.

• Entry-level experience using relational and non-relational Databases
