Oracle Senior Member of Technical Staff in KOLKATA, India

Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

Engineer will be responsible for UI/Front-end development for Internationalization of the next generation healthcare financial management applications hosted on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for healthcare providers.

Primary Skills:

  • Well-rounded front-end developer with exposure to all layers of application development. Advanced UI development skills using JET frameworks and/or VBCS is preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience developing web UIs using Angular, Knockout, JET or similar JavaScript frameworks.

  • Strong understanding of browser-side client technologies including AJAX, JSON objects, responsive design and JavaScript DOM manipulation techniques.

  • Strong knowledge of Typescript/HTML/CSS/XML.

  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, improve loading times, and optimize user experiences.

  • Experience with test driven development, unit test / UI test frameworks such as Jest / Selenium / WebdriverIO / Puppeteer / Cypress is an added advantage.

Nice to have Skills:

  • Exposure to Java, Spring Boot, Microservices technologies.

  • Experience working with Web-services (REST APIs).

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Experience with Cloud Applications and technologies

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
