REHLKO Supervisor - Materials 3rd shift in KOHLER, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Supervisor - Materials 3rd shift Location: Mosel, WI Opportunity Under the direction of the Materials Manager - 3, this position is responsible for all activities related to material receipt, storage, control and internal distribution at the Rehlko Power Systems facility located in Mosel, WI. Working with scheduling & production, this position will ensure the production lines are in constant supply of material with minimal loss in productivity or inventory. Skills/Requirements SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Conduct monthly safety training for all areas of responsibility and ensure associates are working safely including wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE). Report, investigate and follow through on all safety issues in assigned area. 2. Schedule associates, set expectations and monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery of material to point of use on time with quality. 3. Owns the proper storage of material. Works to maintain optimal inventory accuracy to meet the requirements shared by the Materials Manager - Mosel. 4. Ensure associates follow appropriate non-conformance and LOTO procedures. 5. Hold associates accountable to safety / quality / performance / attendance standards. 6. Coordinate the training and development of associates to meet job expectations. 7. Ensure associates have all equipment necessary to perform the job. Ensure the condition of equipment is maintained in accordance to Materials Manager - Mosel directives 8. Resolve any union grievances with the assistance of Materials Manager - Mosel 9. Verify and maintain all attendance, payroll and associates records for the assigned area. RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS Supervisory Relationships: * Reports to Materials Manager - Mosel Organization Relationships: * Internal: * External Business Relationships: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration or Engineering with a concentration in Supply Chain, Logisitcs or Operations Management preferred. Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing related work experience required with Supply Chain or Logistics related work experience preferred. Previously leadership experience (manufacturing or military environment) required with experience with leading unionized associates preferred. Strong verbal and written communication and leadership skills are required. Basic computer skills with the ability to understand and learn quickly required. Knowledge of SAP and Workbrain production control systems is strongly preferred. * Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future. The salary range for this position is \$69800 - \$87950. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate\'s experience, their education, and the work location.
