"We are looking for skilled Test Automation Developer to join our Performance Engineering squad within IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps Team. Our mission is to process and analyze an impressive volume of spans, traces, metrics, and events every second. This enables us to deliver actionable APM intelligence to our ever-growing customer community.

Your Role and Responsibilities

• The IBM Cloud Pak for AIOps team is looking for a Performance Test Automation developer to join our Team in Kochi. As a Performance Test Automation developer at AIOps, you will play a crucial role in optimizing the performance and reliability of our products. Your efforts will directly impact the success of our mission and the satisfaction of our customers. At IBM, you will use the latest software development tools, techniques and approaches and work with leading minds in the industry to build solutions you can be proud of.

• Key Responsibilities:

• You adapt existing performance verification tests and design new tests, execute them, and interpret the results.

• You are responsible for running, maintaining, and expanding the performance automated test suites and you think about how we can automate even more.

• You consult with the Performance Engineering team on performance aspects such as stability, scalability, and speed.

• Identify bottle necks, stress and load test and follow performance testing processes.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 3 - 6 years of experience in performance testing software and automating tests

• Performance Testing:

• Experience with performing system Performance and scalability testing.

• Understanding of different testing types, including load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing

• Deep understanding and hands on experience in performance test and automation frameworks like JMeter, selenium, cypress, codecept, Cucumber framework, Junit, etc. API automation, experience working on CI/CD, version control tools like Git

• Automation Integration:

• Implement and integrate performance test automation into Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline testing processes and enhance efficiency.

• Basic knowledge of Operating Systems like Linux/Unix

• Experience in Scripting (Python, Shell) is an advantage

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience with Containers, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, OpenShift

• Experience working in cloud service providers like IBM Cloud, AWS, Google, Azure.
