Job Description: Job Title: Finance and Accounting Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance and Accounting Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and performing various finance and accounting functions, including Record-to-Report (R2R), Intercompany, Vendor Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable, and Invoice Processing.

Key Responsibilities:

R2R:

Manage and perform general accounting functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly closing and annual audits.

Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.

Intercompany:

Manage intercompany transactions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Ensure compliance with intercompany accounting policies and procedures.

Analyse and resolve intercompany transaction discrepancies.

Vendor Reconciliation:

Manage vendor reconciliations, including statement reconciliations, invoice verification, and payment processing.

Ensure accurate and timely vendor payments.

Analyse and resolve vendor reconciliation discrepancies.

Accounts Receivable:

Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, payment processing, and account reconciliations.

Ensure accurate and timely customer invoicing and payment processing.

Analyse and resolve accounts receivable discrepancies.

Invoice Processing:

Manage invoice processing functions, including invoice verification, payment processing, and account reconciliations.

Ensure accurate and timely invoice processing and payment.

Analyse and resolve invoice processing discrepancies.

Accounts Payable:

Process and reconcile vendor invoices, credit memos, and other related documents.

Manage payment processing, including electronic funds transfer and check issuance.

Analyze and resolve AP discrepancies.

Procure-to-Pay (P2P):

Manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from requisition to payment.

Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.

Analyze and resolve P2P discrepancies.

Master Data Management:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date master data, including vendor, customer, and asset information.

Ensure data consistency across systems.

Analyze and resolve data discrepancies.

Fixed Asset:

Manage fixed asset creation, depreciation, and disposal.

Ensure accurate and timely fixed asset reporting.

Analyze and resolve fixed asset discrepancies.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

Minimum 4-12 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a shared service or BPO environment.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP and financial reporting requirements.

Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
