Job Description
The Senior Manager of Business Planning is a key leader within the Strategy Realization team who will drive the implementation of an annual strategic planning process, conduct analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies, and lead a team of strategic and innovative thinkers.
Drive the annual planning process ensuring timelines and deliverables are met
Develop and implement planning standards, templates and tools while working to consolidate and analyze throughout the planning cycle
Support the effort to define, categorize and ultimately realize the top priorities that impact the business
Develop, monitor, and analyze key performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement
Foster collaboration and communication among various internal teams driving cross-functional alignment on the company’s goals
Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior leadership, summarizing key performance metrics and progress toward business goals
Develop and lead a team of direct reports
Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, management or other related field, MBA preferred
5+ years of experience in a strategy, strategic planning, or business operations role
Understanding of enterprise strategy management methodologies (ex: Balanced Scorecards, Objective Key Results, etc.), tools, and approaches
Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
Excellent presentation and written/oral communication skills
Strong business acumen and analytical rigor with ability to utilize data and business analysis to make informed decisions
Ability to use relationship-building and communication skills to influence others
Strong stakeholder management skills
General office work requiring sitting or standing for long periods of time
