GENERALJOBDESCRIPTION

A Road Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of transportation services.Theyoverseeandsupportdrivers,monitorroutes,andaddressanyissuesthatariseduring transit. This position requires a strong understanding of transportation regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle challenging situations effectively.

MAJORDUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITES

·Evaluateandmonitordriversafetyandperformanceincompliancewithlegal,employmentand labor policy matters.

·Conducton-the-sceneaccidentinvestigations;assistdriversinpreparingaccidentreports,OSHA reports and safety violations documents.

·Organizeandhostdrivertrainingandsafetycourses;trainnewdriversandretraindrivers involved in accidents.

·Observedriversontheroad-correctsafetyproblemsonthescenewhiledocumenting violations.

·Liaisonbetweendriversandtheorganizationincustomerserviceconcerns

·AssistSafetyManagerwithDOT/FTAcompliance-drugtestingandrecordkeeping.

·Driveroutes periodically

·Assistsindispatching,driving,andmiscellaneousclericaltasksasneeded.

·Provides behind-the-wheel instruction according to corporate and client specifications in all aspectsofvehicleoperationandpassengertransportation,includingdefensivedriving,service area familiarization, passenger loading, unloading and securement.

  • Providescoachingandre-trainingasrequiredonDriveCam.

  • HighSchoolDiploma,GEDor equivalent

  • 5+yearsofrelatedworkexperience

  • 2+yearsofrelevantleadershipexperience

  • ValidCommercialDriver’sLicensewithpassengerandairbrakeendorsements

  • Excellentinterpersonal&communicationskills

  • ComputerliterateandproficientinMicrosoftOffice

  • Abilitytoeffectivelyprioritizetasksandmanagetimeeffectively.

  • Workextendedhoursregularly,includingSaturdayandSunday.

  • Demonstrateregularandconsistentattendanceandpunctuality.
