Job Title: Press Operator
Job Description
As a Press Operator, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, completing daily housekeeping tasks, and reporting any safety concerns to your supervisor. Your main duties will include completing make-ready tasks according to Job Ticket and Product Specification documents, ensuring the correct use of print cylinders, inks, substrates, tooling, and anilox rollers. You will operate the press to produce products according to customer specifications while maintaining quality, minimizing waste, and optimizing press efficiency. Additionally, you will perform critical quality checks including copy, color, registration, and ink adhesion, and ensure all other quality checks conform to standards. You will also be responsible for adhering to all related procedures, work instructions, and quality measurements as outlined in the BRC standard, efficiently completing press make-readies, performing required equipment maintenance, and cleaning plates, cylinders, and ink pans as needed.
