Worldwide Equipment INVENTORY HEALTH MANAGER - Inventory Control/Training in Knoxville, Tennessee

POSITION SUMMARY

Manage a variety of tasks in Central Support, including allocation of manufacture rebates, analysis of excess/obsolescent inventory, disposition of said inventory, core analysis, and dealership core returns.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Allocate manufacture rebates for all suppliers by dealership based on sales to supply to accounting.

• Analyze parts inventory of all dealerships to determine excess and obsolete inventory.

• Manage the execution of transfers of excess/obsolescent inventory to dealerships with sales and monitor dealerships for execution of those transfers.

• Analyze needed OE returns monthly and manage the execution of those returns.

• Submit annual supplier returns for top suppliers and manage the execution of those returns.

• Monitor core returns from dealerships and manage execution of any needed core eligibility transfers between dealerships.

• Execute formatting/loading of price files from all suppliers as needed into Fusion.

• Assist with Physical Inventoried at various dealerships.

• Train personnel in the field on procedures to execute core returns and part returns.

• Provide insight on needed process improvements for Worldwide Equipment.

• Manage/perform other duties and/or projects as assigned by supervisor.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES / ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE

• Supervises Inventory Health Coordinator; may provide direction to others as necessary.

• The Inventory Health Manager reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENC E

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• Prefer three years’ previous experience in a warehouse environment handling products and working with inventory control

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.

• Ability to effectively present information to management.

• Proficient in basic math, can determine variance in numbers on sight. Able to count and add basic numbers without a calculator.

• Ability to effectively communicate using both Email and through phone calls.
