Head of Data Products
PRIMARY PURPOSE : To oversee all aspects of Sedgwick’s business from an information technology perspective; to oversee setting the strategy for technology, technology integration, global property IT support and procedures, strategic initiative, department budgeting for the assigned segment of Sedgwick’s business.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides senior leadership to VP and Director level colleagues responsible for the execution of strategic initiatives.
Provides strategic and tactical direction for all areas within responsible domains.
Manages highly technical teams working on large complex multi-million dollar initiatives.
Plans budget for large complex projects and executes on plans to budget.
Responsible for feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and the establishment and implementation of new or revised applications, systems, and programs.
Manages off-shore and on-shore vendor relationships engaged with strategic project execution and planning.
Prepares and provides executive steering committee updates for CIO and other senior executive leaders.
Develops roadmap and planning for large complex multi-year projects.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supports the organization's quality program(s).
Travels as required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Administers company personnel policies in all areas and follows company staffing standards and training recommendations.
Interviews, hires and establishes colleague performance development plans; conducts colleague performance discussions.
Provides support, guidance, leadership and motivation to promote maximum performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Licensing
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major in information systems or management strong preferred.
Experience
Fifteen (15) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include executive or senior IT management responsibilities including leading teams of 50+ colleagues and contractors. Experience implementing and managing off-shore and vendor resources a plus.
