Shoffner Acquisition Corp Accounts Payable Specialist in Knoxville, Tennessee
We are seeking a highly motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Accounts Payable team in our Service department in Knoxville, TN. The ideal candidate is a dependable, organized, productive team player with the ability to work well with others. The candidate must also possess oral and written communication skills, technical skills, and accounts payable knowledge.

Pay: $18 - $20 per hour, depending on experience.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable invoice coding into accounting system.
Interacting with purchasing personnel to resolve PO and invoice discrepancies
Maintaining necessary information to set up accounts with new vendors.
Configure employee devices, including iPhones and iPads, with job-specific applications.
Assist with expense reports for our Service department.
Field inbound calls from clients for technician dispatching.
Creating dispatch work orders.
Assisting management with other miscellaneous accounting matters as needed.
Qualifications:
Accounting degree or 2+ years of experience preferred.
Good knowledge of math and basic accounting principles.
Organization and time management skills.
Experience configuring electronic devices.
Microsoft Office experience; Excel formulas, sorting and filtering functions.
Willingness to learn and help others.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain a positive, cooperative and teachable attitude.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
