WorkSource Oregon Welder/Mechanic/Laborer in KLAMATH FALLS, Oregon
Required: * At least 6 months experience as a Welder/Fabricator * Basic mathematics skills * Valid driver\'s license with a good driving record * Work with Mig, Tig and stick welders on all types of metal * Employer will train to operate boat * Work in all weather conditions * May need to maneuver and/or lift up to 50 pounds unassisted Preferred: * General mechanical skills Duties Include: * Use technical drawings and various other specs and verbal instructions for planning * Familiar with structural welding * Cutting and joining metal parts for fabricating or repairing vehicles, equipment, tools and other various other activities, using tools like various welders, plasma cutter, chop saw, oxyacetylene torch, etc. * Fabricating the equipment and parts for meeting special or unusual needs, using the manufacturer specifications, calculator, measuring devices, drawings, etc. * Knowledge of safety precautions related to occupational hazards, procedures and practices of the trade * Skilled in identifying the proper tools and use them in the safety possible manner as well as various equipment * Assisting in the harvest process during the summer * May be required to complete additional duties as assigned
