We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Operations to lead our production operations, ensuring exceptional quality and efficiency across all aspects of manufacturing. Job Description: The Director of Operations will oversee our comprehensive manufacturing operations, including production, quality control, tooling, and the production management team. This role is responsible for enhancing operational procedures, systems, and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting, and looking for opportunities to expand systems. You will ensure that all products are produced with the highest quality, delivered on schedule, and produced within cost constraints. Key Responsibilities: \' Oversee the entire production process to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effective management of resources. \' Lead the production management team, setting goals and monitoring performance to ensure that production targets and quality standards are met. \' Develop and implement quality control measures that enhance product consistency and adherence to industry standards. \' Manage tooling innovations and maintenance, ensuring all production equipment operates at peak efficiency. \' Direct strategic planning and resource allocation for the operations department. \' Along with the materials manager, spearhead negotiations with key suppliers and manage vendor contracts to optimize material quality and cost. \' Foster a culture of continuous improvement across all manufacturing processes. \' Report directly to the company president, providing strategic insights and updates on operational performance and challenges. Qualifications: \' Extensive experience in a senior operations management role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics or related fields. \' Recent and relevant experience managing the profitability of a manufacturing operation \' Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop high-performance teams. \' Strong understanding of quality assurance, tooling, and production management. \' Proficient in ERP systems and well-versed in standard office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets). \' Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving skills. \' Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
