United States Fleet Forces Command SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in Kittery, Maine
Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the BUDGET & STATISTICS DIVISION, COMPTROLLER DEPARTMENT of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will be responsible for ensuring budget formulation and budget execution functions are in compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and audit corrective action plans. You will represent the Comptroller on the Resource Sub Sector, Shipyard Capacity Board and/or the Deputy Leadership Team. You will provide technical guidance and assistance in the development and implementation of training programs as required to support alignment with the Senior Leadership Team. You will coordinate with Fleet Forces Command and Naval Sea Systems to ensure all Budget submissions are completed accurately and on time. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience serving as a senior liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management policy and procedures within the organization; Experience directing or performing continuing program execution review, analysis and appraisal of the major operating and support programs within the organization; Experience preparing briefs for senior managers on program execution and provides recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas; Experience providing interpretive and analytical advice on financial transactions and program execution (i.e. develops format and content to provide managers with various listing, reports, and data relative to status of funds and the propriety of obligations and ensures the financial integrity, timeliness, accuracy and validity of supporting managerial accounting, budget execution, and financial management reports); Experience performing as a Supervisor by implementing and adhering to basic supervisory/management principles, practices, procedures and regulations.
