Naval Facilities Engineering Command SUPERVISORY FACILITY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST in Kittery, Maine

Summary You will serve as a Supervisory Facility Operations Specialist in the Public Works Department Kittery of NAVFAC ENGINEERING CMD MID-ATLANTIC. Responsibilities You will perform the full range of administrative and technical supervisory duties including organization, training, planning, and operations of personnel within the Requirements Branch. You will review operations of an organization in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with facility requirements to meet mission directives. You will determine the products and services needed to carry out facility management functions and ensure missions objectives are met. You will coordinate with organization and public works business lines to develop facility maintenance planning and execution strategies. You will evaluate possible approaches and solutions to unusual maintenance and repair problems using technical judgment, experience, and exploration of available resources. You will monitor status of work execution to ensure that facilities projects satisfy business requirements. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Coordinating and partnering with customers to identify all facility and utility requirements, including the development, planning, scheduling, acquisition, budget expenditures, execution and oversight of all real property sustainment, restoration and modernization (SRM) work and facilities services; 2) Authorizing the initiation of work projects, support acquisition planning, balance workload with available resources, and performance management/measurement of work order execution and schedules; 3) Utilizing automated systems and authoritative databases to review facility information and manage facility maintenance and repair plans; 4) Coordinating maintenance inspection programs and infrastructure condition assessment program(s).
