• Edits in-game text, voice scripts, manual text, package copy, game summaries, and other materials as needed.
• Edits text and makes recommendations regarding grammar, spelling, style, voice, content, and consistency.
• Researches franchise history and fact-checks content.
• Creates and maintains department style guides, character sheets and other editorial guidelines.
• Edits manuals, packaging, websites, social media posts and other game-related consumer-facing content.
• Collaborates with proofreaders and copy editors to review game content consistently and efficiently.
• Collaborates with other editors by creating process efficiencies and leveraging resources.
