NVIDIA is seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Networking Software engineering team. We provide end-to-end Ethernet and InfiniBand interconnect solutions and services for servers, storage, and hyper-converged infrastructure. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the flawless performance of our hardware, drivers, and related software products. You will positively impact our ability to deliver our products to customers in a fast-paced and constantly evolving manner. You will participate in software testing, systems testing, networking, and automation in a Windows and Linux environment. You will also collaborate with some of the best engineers at NVIDIA and with our partners worldwide. This is a unique opportunity to work with sophisticated technology and to contribute significantly to the continuous improvement of our products. What you'll be doing:

  • Designing, completing (both manually and automatically) and automating tests.
  • Evaluating the performance and functionality of our hardware, drivers, and software-related products, adhering to the highest standards of quality.
  • Encouraging a culture of teamwork and inclusion by closely collaborating with teams with varied strengths, to identify and report bugs and usability issues.
  • Developing and implementing comprehensive test plans to ensure thorough coverage and identifying areas for improvement, thereby determining the most effective strategies for optimization.
  • Providing regular status reports to our partners, highlighting any major issues and creating proactive solutions to ensure successful implementation.
  • Showcasing your problem-solving skills and technical expertise by taking a lead role in critical issues (including bug reproductions) and meetings.
  • Engaging in lab work as a fundamental aspect of the role.
  • Participating in product feature reviews and providing insightful feedback on requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of industry experience.
  • Linux or Windows experience.
  • Strong self-management skills, with leadership potential and a keen analytical approach.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to effectively articulate the quality and performance of our networking products.
  • Ability to balance conflicting priorities and maintain a positive demeanor in a committed and dynamic environment.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • Previous experience in technical or QA positions, demonstrating a strong comprehension of testing methodologies and effective approaches.
  • Python programming skills.
  • Familiarity with network protocols.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools, including scripting and test automation.
  • Background with the Windows OS environment, including Windows Hyper-V.
