Job Summary PACCAR Electronics Engineering, which serves both Kenworth and Peterbilt, has an opening for a Quality and Continuous Improvement Engineer - Embedded Systems. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Software Quality team! Be a trailblazer and help establish new processes that will bring our Embedded Engineering team to the next level of productivity and compliance. Responsibilities Plan and perform process audits to ensure compliance with V-Cycle corporate processes, department procedures, and Automotive SPICE. Create documentation for audits, updates, and department responsibility tracking. Provide weekly data reports of Quality data (non-conformances, corrective actions) to management and Quality personnel. Develop strong relationships with the product development teams to facilitate communication and feedback. Assist with product development workflow redesign and processes as necessary. Maintain knowledge of all stakeholders involved in product development with regards to their role, function, and workflow to facilitate effective audits. Identify areas of improvement and lead incremental changes to improve. Assist product development teams with Agile/Scrum process deployment and drive improvements of team metrics. Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives within department Travel up to 10%, including internationally. Qualifications/Skills Required Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. Knowledge of quality principles including root cause analysis, corrective actions, non-conformances (defects), and continuous improvement. Experience with investigations or quality auditing. Ability to define, produce, and maintain audit reports. Ability to work independently and in teams with excellent problem-solving, communication, organizational, and presentation skills. Demonstrated success in managing multiple projects, with the ability to organize and coordinate work efficiently, prioritize workload, adapt to changing priorities, and adhere to deadlines.
