Develop data transformation jobs and interfaces Monitor and oversee third party vendor remote access to servers Meet with customers for requirements gathering and UAT and assist business users with documentation/help/how-to-steps. Ability to gather business requirements and develop functional/technical specifications. Ability to communicate with supervisors, colleagues, and customers. Develop custom reports and SQL queries as needed Develop workflows and business processes Captures requirements using industry standard development frameworks and tools Designs reports, forms and letters along with computer terminal screen displays to accomplish goals of user request Reviews screens, reports, forms and letters designs with users. Converts project specifications, using industry standard tools, such as object-oriented tools and code generation applying knowledge of computer programming techniques and computer languages Writes documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections Writes manual for users to describe installation and operating procedures Assists users to solve operating problems. Recreates steps taken by user to locate source of problem and rewrites program to correct errors. Position requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Information systems, Information Systems Technologies-Information Assurance, Mechanical Engineering ,Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering, Engineering (Any) or related field. Special Requirements:Position requires travel/relocation to various unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S with expenses paid by the employer. SOC Code: 15-1252 (Software Developers).
