Google Program Manager II, Supply Chain, Data Center in Atlanta, Georgia

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.

  • Experience driving and executing change management.

  • Experience in supply chain operations and management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Experience in partner and vendor management.

  • Experience in supply chain management for data center infrastructure components.

  • Knowledge in Owner-Furnished Equipment (OFE) or On-Time Equipment product delivery.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The team leads the management of supply chain delivery activities for data center infrastructure components, ensuring on-time, high-quality equipment product delivery.

The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are a diverse, upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Coordinate with Project Teams and the Supplier to maintain On-Time Equipment Delivery, expediting and mitigating equipment delivery risks, status, reporting, and escalations

  • Manage and maintain Stage-Gate Deliverables and Project-Level Change Management Oversight.

  • Drive risk identification and mitigation activities, transfer of ownership, equipment protection plans, and loose ship material management.

  • Develop process to be used by the contractors for approval/acceptance of shipments delivered to site.

  • Track internal project-related bugs to support timely resolution.
