Astronics Advanced Electronic Systems (AES) is hiring a Program Administrator in our Cabin Electronics Product Group in Kirkland, WA .

JOB SUMMARY

Our Program Administrator partners with Program Managers to support and manage the internal aspects of programs, in order to accomplish successful program completion and customer satisfaction. The PA may work multiple different programs at a time and ensure customer contractual requirements and expectations are met.

The Cabin Electronics Product Group is the world’s leading manufacturer of in-seat power systems for the commercial airline industry. The group’s EmPower® product line provides a variety of scalable power solutions for aircraft passenger cabins and flight decks. The system is used by over 280 airlines, in-flight entertainment (IFE) suppliers, and all major aircraft OEM manufacturers worldwide.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer & Product Support – Manages internal and external deliverables ofprograms as support to Program Managers. Attends internal and external customermeetings to best facilitate program and product updates, status.

  • Change Management & Approvals – Aids Product Program Managers to facilitateefficient submission and approval of product change requests to OEM and/or keycustomers. Monitors approval process and drives acceptance. Similarly, supportsinternal change orders for release of product updates.

  • Program Status – May create or support program documentation, metrics, scheduleand/or reports of overall health of products. Contributes to internal program reviewswith Program Managers.

  • Schedule Control - Creates and manages product change documentation. Managesrelated customer approval schedules.

  • Team Leadership – Typically coordinates with other organizations (Operations,Customer Program Management, Supply Chain) to meet support objectives. Maycontribute to, or lead, cross functional team meetings. Supports Product ProgramManagers in communicating action item status, meeting minutes, program plans andchange management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree highly desired.

  • May consider two or more years equivalent work experience in Program Management, Operations, Finance, Contracts, Order Administration, Procurement, or other related function in lieu of degree.

  • Minimum of one year of direct experience in a related role is required.

Employment Eligibility Requirements:

  • As a US Department of Defense Contractor, Astronics is bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Must be a US Person under ITAR to be eligible.

  • An offer of employment is contingent on successfully passing a drug test and background check.

Base salary range is $61,229 - $91,843 per year. Several job-related and non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to experience in comparable roles, skill sets, training, education, licensure or certifications, other qualifications, market conditions and business needs influence actual salary offered.
