Overview:  A local welding company specializing in the design and fabrication of mist eliminators, pressure vessels, tanks, industrial evaporative coolers, and marine solutions is seeking a skilled Fabrication Welder. This person would be responsible for welding and assembling components used in custom-designed mist eliminators, tanks, vessels, industrial coolers, and marine ventilation systems. This role requires precision, technical expertise, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

JOB DUTIES:

May include but not limited to the following:

• Perform MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding on a variety of metals
• Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to fabricate components to exact specifications
• Set up and operate welding equipment, grinder, saws, and other fabrication tools
• Assemble, weld, and finish products to ensure structural integrity and quality
• Conduct inspections to verify accuracy, dimensions, and conformance to company standards
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company safety policies and procedures
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to troubleshoot and resolve any fabrication challenges

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Fabrication Welder in an industrial or marine setting
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of welding standards, safety procedures, and metal properties
• Attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship
• Physical stamina to perform welding tasks, including lifting heavy materials, standing, and working in various positions for extended periods
• Certification in welding

Pay: $20.00-$24.00/hour DOE

Schedule:

Tuesday-Saturday, 7:00AM-5:30PM
