Job Title: Customer Care Assistant (Veterinary Receptionist)
Salary: £24,985 per annum
Location: You may be required to work at any of our 3 great veterinary clinics (Vet4LifeTeddington, Shepperton and Surbiton)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Hours: 40 Hours per week.
Shifts : Varying between 7.30 and 19.30 Monday to Friday.
1:3 Saturdays 8.30-17:00 and 1:9 Sundays 9.30am -16:00.
Vet4Life is looking for a caring, organised and motivated individual to join their exceptional front-of-house team.
The Customer Care Adviser's goal is to ensure that our clients receive excellent customer service, advice and care for their pets.
You will play a crucial role in the customer service relationship, serving as the first point of contact for new and existing customers.
The role will require a love of animals, excellent administration skills, the ability to multitask and a drive to accomplish tasks.
Your role and responsibilities
The duties will involve, but are not limited to:
Welcoming clients and their pets in a warm, professional manner.
Managing the diary; booking in appointments and surgical procedures.
Answering a range of client questions via email and telephone.
Pro-active communication between clients and colleagues to ensure the day runs smoothly.
Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc.
Processing prescription requests.
Taking payments.
Promoting offers and services.
Ensuring that reception is clean and well-stocked.
Required Skills and Experience
You may be required to work at any of our clinics in Surrey and South West London, all of which are located close to great public transport links, so flexibility is desirable
Previous Customer facing experience (1 year minimum)
Ability to work at a fast working pace under pressure
Strong Administration, organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
Excellent IT skills – Microsoft (Outlook, Word and Excel)
