With projects from coast to coast, including the U.S. Naval Base Guantanamo Bay and Puerto Rico, we are now expanding our operations and looking for certified Medium-Voltage Electricians to join our growing Electrical Team for our Southeast projects including but not limited to Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana, Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base in Georgia, and Pensacola Naval Air Station in Florida.

YOU MUST HAVE CURRENT, VALID MEDIUM-VOLTAGE CERTIFICATION FROM THE NCSCB TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION
What You'll Do:
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures on exciting, fast-paced commercial and government construction projects. This includes but is not limited to cable pulling, cable splicing, and terminating. Expected to do electrical work (running conduit, pulling wire, setting switchgear, installing duct banks, etc.) when not working on medium-voltage equipment and/or scopes of work.
Ensure all work is performed to code and in line with safety practices.
Apply your electrical expertise to support our mission of delivering top-notch Design-Build projects, with a primary focus on military and defense contracts.
Travel consistently to multiple projects across the Southeast including but not limited to Barksdale Air Force Base in Louisiana, Kings Bay Naval Submarine Base in Georgia, and Pensacola Naval Air Station in Florida.

What You Need:
Experience: At least 4 years of commercial, industrial, or facilities operations experience as a journey-level wireman. Military or large commercial construction experience is a plus!
Skills & Certifications:
High School Diploma or GED supplemented by completion of a Union/private(in-house)/military/trade school apprenticeship program including both theory and on-the-job work
Valid electrician's license or journeyman card
Valid Certificate Holder status (must have proof of cert.) from the National Cable Splicing Termination Board (NCSCB) in the field of splicing and terminating shielded medium voltage (5KV to 35KV) power cable using pre-manufactured kits (pre-molded, heat-shrink, cold shrink)
CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30-hour Certifications
Preferred additional certifications: Trenching/Shoring, Fall Protection, Confined Space, Forklift/Manlift, etc.
Tools: You'll need your own set of basic tools, including but not limited to a knife, pliers/linemen, screwdrivers, nut drivers, key-hole saw, hacksaw, hammer, level (small 12"), channel locks 2, needle nose pliers/long nose pliers, voltage meter/tester, tool pouch/belt for electrical, diagonal pliers, Allen wrenches/stranded/metric, taps (6/32, 8/32, 10/24), wire stripers, socket set, tape measure (at least 25 ft.), side cutters, flashlight, cordless drill/impact drill, wrench set, and a crescent wrench
