American Plastics, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative plastic-injection molded products for the household & garage storage and commercial cleaning end-markets. We are searching for a Human Resource Coordinator for our Kingman, AZ location. The HR coordinator must have outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. An HR coordinator is expected to be a conceptual thinker with fantastic organizational and time management skills. You will have excellent administrative and IT skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment. This position will report to the Human Resources Manager.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Human Resources Manager with recruitment of hourly production positions, organizing job fairs and other recruiting events
Assist in conducting new hire orientation, process background checks and employment authorization
Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
Process weekly timekeeping and maintain attendance calendars
Maintain active and terminated personnel files
Maintain job descriptions and new hire training manual
