You'll design, implement, and automate tests that push our applications to their limits, all while collaborating with top talent to drive seamless deployment. What you will do:

  • Review project requirements and documentation to ensure everything is complete and testable within the given scope and timeline.

  • Develop, implement, and execute tests that align with project schedules, helping us identify issues and measure the quality of our deliverables.

  • Contribute to our automation efforts by creating and integrating valuable, high-quality automated tests into the software build and deployment process.

  • Keep everyone in the loop by communicating and documenting testing progress, results, and any key insights to your peers, leaders, and product development teams.

  • Continuously update and maintain testing documentation, adapting to improvements and changes in our products and test strategies over time.

  • Dive deep into our Payment Card processing logic and merchant onboarding processes to become a subject matter expert, ensuring our applications meet business needs.

What you will need to have:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferably Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent combination of experience, education and military.

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing with advanced programming skills who can create automation testing tools and frameworks to assist the manual testing process.

  • Proven experience testing web applications integrated with SQL databases, Java-based application servers, queuing service middleware, and internal/external APIs, with a focus on end-to-end validation of business processes.

  • Experienced in Cucumber and Gherkin and testing REST API calls.

  • Demonstrated expertise in automating tests for web applications with complex business logic.

  • Strong background in developing automated tests using Java-based tools.

  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and create clear, comprehensive, and actionable defect reports.

  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration frameworks like Jenkins and GoCD.

  • Software testing professional that contributes to a high level of credibility within the testing team.

  • Positive, ‘can-do’ attitude with a focus on team success through collaboration.

  • ‘Systems Thinker’ who can learn how our applications work, then apply that knowledge in high-value testing engagement on projects.

  • Experience with Selenium.

  • Must be able to take on the challenge of a fast-paced environment with high rates of change.
