CSL Behring LLC Senior Manager Digital Health in KING OF PRUSSIA, Pennsylvania

Responsible for the development and implementation of mobile apps, digital health and customer experience solutions that enable the organizations' business processes in line with the organization's strategy. Partner with the business to make key decisions that determine digital health and mobile apps strategies based on company and brand objectives, long term goals and capabilities, trends and relevant data. Serve as product owner for the patient focused mobile apps. Manage and define product backlog and prioritize solutions and continually improve efficiency. Oversight of all solutions in their core domain and by orchestrating services from across the enterprise and third-party organizations. Empowered to make decisions within their domain contributing to enterprise application standards, strategies, and plans. Contribute to the creation of roadmaps of prioritized future capabilities for mobile applications, digital health and customer experience solutions. Ensure mobile and digital health solutions are accountable, transparent, and clear to all. Work with business partners and product leads to capture business needs; understand the customer journey and define user requirements. Identify potential new solutions including technology trends and emerging capabilities (Flutter dev framework, SaMD capabilities). Advise on data strategy ensuring KPIs are defined, ingestion pipelines are established, and business dashboard/reports are generated. Provide strategic guidance in defining organization's digital health strategy. Support organization's internal platform development with goal of enhancing technological maturity. Factor in required architecture/engineering effort to build common components. Make/help with buy-versus-build decisions and ensure the necessary procurement planning. Determine investment opportunities based on business & financial objectives. Develop scope, manage, define and prioritize backlog items that guide the Agile development team while serve as primary point of contact for business and third party stakeholders. Serve as a management level SME making recommendations to development team and business regarding solution/product release plans ensuring that business requirements are met. Leverage direct/indirect IT resources to manage the solution, meeting the agreed requirements within timescales while staying compliant. Manage solution/product release plans that satisfy requirements and priorities. Manage their domain in the discipline of product and project management to drive successful outcomes and continuous delivery of key capabilities. Apply development methodologies ensuring teams have the right skills to deliver quickly and respond to emerging requirements. Identify and tackle technical issues, and remove blockers. Apply technical knowledge, including agile practices, to solve business problems. Accountable for training services associated with the solution/product as required. Foster effective communication with team members for release plans, status updates and issue reporting. Responsible for cost management in their domain in partnership with leadership. Manage on-going operations for the functional area, compile key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of service and improve daily operations through system change management and project delivery. Responsible for making the outsourced services work for their domain. Manages lifecycle management, solution stability and risks ensuring solutions in their domain maintain compliance with tech & regulatory standards and are in line with enterprise allocation processes and roadmaps. May work from home.

*REQUIREMENTS:   *Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field plus 3 years of experience in the offered position or related position; or Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field plus 2 years of experience in the offered positio or related position.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:     

Must possess expertise/knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/knowledge cannot be "quantified" by "time". Required expertise/knowledge includes:

 

  • Certified product owner.
  • Experience in the broad scope of Digital Health, including Health Information systems, Mobile Health, wearable technology, and combination products.
  • Experience managing solution/product technologies and digital initiatives at a global and/or regional level.
  • Understanding of basic management approaches, including work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
  • Knowledge of multiple delivery methodologies from traditional waterfall to Agile/Lean/DevOps/Product methodologies.
  • Experience in converting business requirements and functional requirements to use cases and user stories with acceptance criteria.
  • Ability to quantify resource requirements and measure and communicate proposed project benefits.
  • Knowledge of human factors and usability methodologies as it relates to digital health and end users interaction with such solutions.
  • Risk assessment, problem resolution, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to engage both developers and business partners to achieve target outcomes.
  • Experience in working with outsourced service providers in an international context.
  • Experience working in heavily matrixed organizations.
  • Knowledge of integrating and operating applications architectures.
  • Knowledge of Commercial Applications, with focus in Customer Experience platforms that support the area of Digital Health.
  • Understanding of digital health capabilities and the distinction between a SaMD vs. non-regulated solutions.
  • Business knowledge relating to all Commercial functions (Sales, Marketing, Medical, Commercial Development).
  • Experience with Information Technology System Management responsibilities.
  • Knowledge and experience in the management and maintenance of technologies and platforms that support Health Information Systems & Digital Health (Bright Insight and Salesforce.com).
  • Knowledge of regulatory governing, compliance, privacy and security practices when it comes to health informatics and digital health (HIPPA).
  • Experience working in a Managed Service operational environment.
  • On-Premise, Cloud Systems and Tenant management experience (SaaS Multi or Single Tenant).
  • Knowledge of Quality Management System and computer system testing/validation.
  • Experience with data strategy, ingestion, analytics and reporting on KPIs and metrics.
  • Knowledge of mobile and web analytics (Google Analytics, firebase analytics).
