Description We are in search of a Sr. Accountant to join our team located in King George, Virginia, 22485, United States. This role is within the industry, and the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and processing a variety of accounting tasks, including but not limited to, GAAP accounting, managing QuickBooks Online, and working with Federal Government regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and process various accounting tasks in compliance with GAAP

• Utilize QuickBooks Online for various accounting operations

• Engage with Federal Government regulations as part of the accounting process

• Maintain and manage complex Excel spreadsheets and reporting techniques

• Utilize MS Office (Word, Excel, Access) for various tasks

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that arise

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a senior accounting role

• Proficiency in GAAP Accounting is required

• Experience with Quickbooks Online is a must

• Knowledge of Federal Government accounting procedures and regulations is essential

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred

• Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary

• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy is required

• Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously

• Experience in the preparation and review of financial statements is essential

• Knowledge of tax laws and regulations is beneficial.
