Blue Water Lift Truck Services Preventative Maintenance Mechanic in Kimball, Michigan
Blue Water Lift Truck is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Mechanic responsible for performing regular maintenance and inspections on equipment, to ensure they are operating efficiently and to prevent breakdowns or failures.
Must have own tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Routine Inspections.
- Lubrication and Cleaning
- Replacing Worn Parts
- Troubleshooting
- Safety Compliance
Required Skills:
- Mechanical Aptitude: Understanding how machines and systems operate and how to repair them.
- Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to troubleshoot issues and develop effective solutions.
- Attention to Detail: Recognizing potential problems early on, often before they are visible or noticeable.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other mechanical systems, depending on the industry.
- Communication: Ability to report on maintenance activities and issues clearly to management or other staff.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED
