The Food Busser/Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of tables, delivering food orders from the kitchen to the dining area promptly, and providing support to the waitstaff and kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
Table Maintenance:
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave.
- Reset tables with clean tableware, napkins, and condiments.
- Ensure the dining area is tidy and presentable at all times.
Food Delivery:
- Transport food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables in a timely manner.
- Ensure that food items are delivered accurately and presented attractively.
- Assist with refilling drinks and responding to guest requests as needed.
Support Duties:
- Assist servers in providing excellent customer service by attending to guest needs.
- Restock server stations with necessary supplies such as silverware, glasses, and napkins.
- Communicate any guest concerns or special requests to the server or manager.
Cleanliness and Organization:
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining, kitchen, and service areas.
- Sweep and mop floors as needed to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Handle and dispose of trash and recycling properly.
