Summary of Position
Student Services liaison. Responsible for various student services functions such as maintaining
designated codes in the Colleague student system, enrollment reporting, providing technical support to student services end users, assisting with the implementation and troubleshooting of student-services related software, advising Academic Fresh Start applicants, researching student issues and coordinating with applicable departments in an effort to resolve, and assigned to special projects. Responsible for graduation ceremony logistics. Coordinator is expected to function independently with minimal general direction and review.
Minimum Required Education
Associates Degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education in Information Technology or related computer science field from a U.S. regionally accredited college is required.
Minimum Required Experience
Four years administrative experience in student services higher education, working for a dean or
at a compatible level. Prefer two years of experience in using technology such as Colleague or document imaging.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Ability to learn new software programs and utilize existing college supported software such as Colleague.
Must have good analytical, problem-solving skills; above average attention-to-detail.
Working knowledge of higher education processes with emphasis on customer service.
Excellent written, oral communication skills; and interpersonal skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with faculty, staff
students and external contacts.

staff and students, and to maintain patience and understanding in stressful situations.
Must be able to handle sensitive matters.
Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task.
Salary 1J/Per Salaried Pay Scale
Hours Full-time, indicate working hours - Mon-Thur 7:30-5:30 Fri 7:30-11:30
