At Silver Oak, we will be providing services to youth with variety of mental health conditions in a therapeutic residential setting.

Daily Expectations and Responsibilities:

The Registered Nurse with ROP works as a staff member of the Medial Department for the Student Services Team and is primarily responsible for coordinating the daily activity of the medical department, ensuring adherence to the healthcare guidelines, and implementing safety standards for the youth. In this role, you will manage the students care according to their needs, delegate medical services for students to other licensed staff, and assist medical, psychiatric, and dental providers on-site and /or telehealth. Primarily responsible for the health care of the students, maintains all student medical files and educates staff and students on health issues, first aid, infectious controls and emergency procedures.

Schedule will be a 42 hour work week spread over 3 1/2 days. Some holidays and weekends required. Typical schedule will be Sunday-Tuesday 6a-7p and Wednesday 6a-12:30p

To be considered, you should:

  • Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.

  • Possess a current Registered Nursing license from the state in which employed.

  • Bachelors Degree in related health care field.

  • Have a minimum of two years previous medical services administration.

  • Have a desire to work with youth.

  • Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (we no longer test for THC), physical, and TB test.
