As a Histology Technologist at Lower Keys Medical Center, (LKMC) you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best, providing quality care to our patients!

Requirements:

• Licenses: Active Florida Histology Technologist licensure.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Completion of a histology program

• One (1) year experience in a healthcare setting.

About the job:

• Prepares and stains specimens of human body tissue so all structure detail or substance will be visible for evaluation by Pathologist, under general supervisions and according to established policies, procedures and standards.

• Prepares solutions, performs special mountings and stains and performs related service duties.

• Knowledge of chemical reagents, solutions and equipment operation and maintenance, and ability to perform histology procedures.
