JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position is full-time and will work 32-hours per week. ***Please visit www.prevea.com/careers to view the full description and to apply on-line*** Job Summary: The Radiology Technologist performs diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance to the Radiologist protocols. They follow established radiographic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety. The Clinic Radiology Tech also performs basic laboratory functions including phlebotomy and some basic lab testing. Job Functions: Performs general imaging that may include specialty imaging such as Orthopedics Position imaging equipment and adjust techniques as appropriate to patient body habitus Perform phlebotomy and basic lab testing as ordered by providers Record, process, and maintain patient data within the electronic medical record and PACs System Completes all image processing procedures and QC testing. Follows Radiologist protocols to ensure images are of diagnostic quality Use radiation safety measures and protection devises to comply with government regulations to ensure the safety of patients and staff Communicates with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, confirm acknowledgment of patients\' understanding and address any questions or concerns ***Please visit www.prevea.com/careers to view the full description and to apply on-line*** ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: 1-3 years Current clinical experience in diagnostic radiology.
