Forensic Case Manager
EAC Network, a not-for-profit social service agency that empowers, assists, and cares for over 65,000 people in need through 100 programs across Long Island and NYC, seeks a Forensic Case Manager to work full time for it's Queens Misdemeanor Drug Court Program.
The Forensic Case Manager position is an non-exempt position paying $27 per hour at 35 hours per week. The hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM and the office is located in Kew Gardens, NY. The role reports to the Program Director.

Primary Purpose of Job:
The Forensic Case Manager of the Queens Misdemeanor Drug Court program is responsible for assessment and referral of alcohol/substance-addicted clients involved in criminal justice system into appropriate treatment programs, and management of a caseload.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct assessment interviews and arrange for client to be placed into appropriate treatment program
and interventions.2. Maintain complete client records and have available for inspection by Supervision at any time.3. Prepare and present written and oral status reports to the criminal justice system in a timely manner regarding client's progress.4. Investigate and arrange supportive services for clients. 5. Conduct groups and behavioral interventions. 6. Transport and escort clients to treatment facilities when indicated as needed in own vehicle if necessary.7. Maintain a caseload of drug/alcohol-abusing offenders.8. Make monthly site visits to all treatment agencies assigned to caseload.9. Conduct drug testing on clients of the Program as needed.Knowledge Skills & Abilities Required:
Bachelor's Degree in social or behavioral sciences required, and two years’ experience in either substance abuse
or criminal justice.2. Working knowledge of treatment programs and local criminal justice system preferred.3. Good communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to work cooperatively with treatment and criminal justice systems.4. Must be proficient in computer applications or other automated systems such as spreadsheets, MicrosoftOffice applications, calendar, and email and/or database software necessary to preform work assignments.
