Koniag Emerging Technologies (KET), a Koniag Government Services company, is hiring an experienced Sr Support Specialist to support KET and our government customer. This position will be located at our customer’s site in Kettering, OH.

KET is seeking a Sr Support Specialist to provide technical and functional support for the AFLCMC/GB4 program. The selected candidate will assist application teams to maintain and troubleshoot applications operating in the cloud environment. Candidate must have a positive attitude and the flexibility to adjust to US Air Force and DoD IT mandates pertaining to the development and security safeguards of application systems.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership to the technical and functional support for the GB4 Program
Troubleshoot and document HW and SW issues using best practices
Leads support team to coordinate client requests
Tracks customer issues in the customer ticketing system
Supervises root -cause analysis of issues
Assess issue escalation and provides solutions
Assess and document risks for the environment
Required Skills/Experience:
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Holds a successfully completed in-scope NACI, NACLC, T1, or higher background investigation or is eligible for an interim public trust while undergoing a new NACI, NACLC, T1, or higher background investigation.
Bachelor’s or relevant work experience
Experience with helpdesk ticketing system
Ability to multitask
4 years of experience working on IT Network environment.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Working knowledge of AF logistics systems and AF cataloging systems
Agile trained and/or certifications
Working knowledge of software life cycle management
Physical and/or Mental Qualifications, if applicable*:
- Effectively communicate with customers, stakeholders, and technical specialists
Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
