Full-time Security Guard - R-Ranch in the Sequoias
As a Security Guard, you will undertake the surveillance of our premises and the protection of our staff and visitors. In addition, you will be responsible for detecting any suspicious happenings and preventing vandalism, thefts or any other criminal behavior. Security Guard job description should contain the following security guard duties and responsibilities: 1. Monitor property entrance. 2. Authorize entrance of people and vehicles. 3. Inspect and patrol premises regularly. 4. Report any suspicious behaviors and happenings and documentation of such. 5. Secure all exits, doors and windows of common buildings when closed. 6. Monitor surveillance cameras. 7. Provide assistance to people in need. 8. Submit reports of daily surveillance activity. 9. Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior. 10. Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities. 11. Interviews witnesses and obtains signatures as needed. 12. High School Diploma or equivalent is required. 13. Must be able to stand for up to 4 hours 14. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. 15. Basic computer skills 16. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills 17. Excellent sense of judgment 18. - High School diploma or equivalent
- California driver's license
- Valid Guard Card
Duties to include securing the perimeter of the facility, checking visitors in and out, directing visitors as required, making incident reports, and other duties as assigned. After an offer of employment, be prepared to have a physical, drug test/screen and background check performed.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if required. Transportation stipend available.
