Description

We are searching for a meticulous Accounting Analyst to join our team. The role primarily involves managing our payable information by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. Being part of a dynamic team in the finance industry, the successful candidate will also be tasked with maintaining historical records, tracking expenses and reducing costs where possible.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify vendor invoices and associated documentation for accuracy

• Process vendor invoices in a timely and efficient manner

• Regularly manage vendor payments, adhering to schedules whether weekly or bi-monthly

• Professionally handle vendor inquiries and maintain positive vendor relations

• Address and resolve invoice issues and discrepancies

• Cash Forecasting

• Implement end-of-month procedures, including reconciling the general ledger

• Maintain Fixed Assets

• Process documentation

• Use Microsoft Excel with proficiency

Requirements

• Demonstrated proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with 3 Way Matching in an accounting context

• Experience with Fixed Asset accounting and processes

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data management and analysis

• Solid background in Account Reconciliation for maintaining accurate financial records
