This position is within SAFRAN Landing Systems, reporting to SAFRAN Filtration Systems, a subsidiary specializing in filtration equipment for aeronautical and military systems (engines, ECS, hydraulics, etc.)
You will be responsible for defining and implementing a sales and business development strategy (in line with the company strategy) to achieve the set goals in your territory (North, Central and South America).
You will have a comprehensive view of your markets where you will deploy our technical offers and understand the competition environment. You will identify new market development opportunities and forge relationships with new partners. You establish the appropriate level of communication with various stakeholders, including direct clients and partners, leveraging your network.

Job Requirements
Good knowledge of the aerospace market and major OEMs/aftermarket players on the American continent required.
A good and rigorous negotiator with a practical sense of analysis and precision in carrying out the required actions and a good knowledge of the filtration market are necessary assets.
Adaptability, synthesizing and analyzing skills are imperative.
Your rigor, your determination and motivation will facilitate you taking up this position.
Other skills & requirements
-identify all business and sales development opportunities.
-carry out regular “OEM Customers” visits in order to establish and maintain trusting relationships.
-engage and contribute to responses to calls for tenders (analyze/transcribe the needs, coordinate cross-functional business activities, build a business plan and have it validated, elaborate and defend the commercial offer, negotiate the contract.
-develop and execute short- and long-term plans to increase orders and market share in line with company strategy and participate in establishing sales forecast and a budget for your areas.
-build relationships with major customers and maintain the loyalty of an existing portfolio in the areas assigned to you while guaranteeing the required profitability levels.
-guarantee the compliance with the company contractual commitments in partnership with the Program managers and the Sales Director, and negotiate its developments and associated claims.
-carry out when needed “Aftermarket Customers” visits in order to develop the aftermarket market share and/or maintain trusting relationships.
-understand assigned market dynamics, including the competition environment, in order to :
provide product input ideas to Product Management, Marketing and Engineering
identify established target markets/applications
create and execute plans
Specificity of the job
You will be located ideally at a Safran group premise in the US (to be defined) and will have regular visits to the head office located in France (frequency to be defined).
