This position represents the Wheel & Brake corporate leadership at the Walton site. Through this position they:

o ensures coordination for compliance to the process in case of on-site audit and effectiveness of the Procure to pay process including the administration of SAP

o acts by delegation and coordinates actions on site

o is responsible for the operational performance of the suppliers based in the Americas and locally represents the WB Commodity Manager.

o liaise to ensure support from SPQM & Purchasing is optimized and meets requirements, consolidates the monitoring and recovery plan of suppliers at Walton

o manages the teams locally and participates in hiring process for the WB Purchasing and Performance Division

o liaise with the partners to define the sourcing panel strategies by commodity, and implements the subsequent road maps to support Purchasing objectives to “Develop a local to local and ITAR compliant Supply Chain”.

o monitors the escalation process, recovery plans, and assessments by delegation

o is accountable for the On Time Delivery and On Quality Delivery escalation process on North American suppliers

o communicates, coordinates and reports functionally to the WB Commodity Manager and SE SPQM Director to comply with the commodities and SPQM related roadmaps.

o directly manages the SPQM Team on Walton site and functionally manages buyers and industrialization leaders on site.

Cross-functional project management, multidisciplinary Teamwork

Good level of written and oral English, Master intercultural relationship.

Management experience, minimum 2 years Purchasing or Supply-Chain experience at a similar level.

Work Experience: Negotiation skills, contractual and contract management, development process knowledge, multi-commodity product knowledge and make or buy recommendations.

Specialized Knowledge: International Aerospace Experience in Purchasing or business, technical background or Project Management.

Safran requirements & documentary system including quality standards, Supply-Chain principles and tools, including audits, lean-sigma, principles and tools of quality including audits preferred.

Communication Skills: Must have strong interpersonal and effective communication skills.

Communication and listening, sense of the field, pragmatic, rigor, spirit of analysis and synthesis, power of persuasion, ability to communicate and represent the company externally.
