Aston Carter Service Coordinator in Kent, Washington

Job Title: Service CoordinatorJob Description

Collaborate with customers, direct sales team, and other departments to provide information about products and services, quotes, order entry including will calls, order confirmations, invoice copies, customer complaints, and order status/maintenance. Occasionally pull product in the warehouse as required for backup purposes to ensure customer satisfaction. Receive, investigate, and respond to customer inquiries while prioritizing urgent matters. Maintain knowledge on lead times, product information, pricing, shipping schedules, and other information to accurately and efficiently assist customers. Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken in SAP and PC software systems. Set up new customers in SAP, including working with the credit and collections department to process credit applications. Maintain knowledge on company products and processes. Perform Customer Master File Maintenance, including updating contact information, sold-to, ship-to, shipping terms, pricing, and customer-specific text requirements. Assist the Credit department with invoice disputes and billing error resolutions. Provide freight estimates as required to ensure customer satisfaction; work with Operations on delivery/freight estimates as necessary to ensure accuracy. Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Kent, Washington.

Work Environment

Must be able to work in a warehouse environment that is partially indoors and partially outdoors. Must be aware of people walking in front of oncoming forklifts. Safety glasses are required at all times in the production area to protect against dust and particles. Closed-toe shoes and long pants are required. Sleeveless shirts are prohibited in the warehouse and production areas. Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.
