Job Description
TMBT Logistics is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Seasonal Driver to join our team as a contractor. This role involves operating a 26' box truck to deliver freight safely and efficiently across designated routes.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with customers during deliveries.
- Ensure all delivery paperwork is completed accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both in the truck and at delivery sites.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures during loading, unloading, and deliveries.
- Report any issues or delays to the logistics coordinator promptly.
- Safely operate a 26' box truck for freight deliveries
- Load and unload cargo using a pallet jack
- Follow designated routes and schedules
- Ensure all deliveries are completed on time
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Previous experience in a similar role is required.
- Valid driver's license and experience driving a 26' box truck
- Ability to lift heavy items and use a pallet jack for loading/unloading
- Flexibility with working hours to meet business needs
- Strong adherence to safety protocols
