Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a highly motivated Logistics Materials Associate to join our Lab Operations team.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a fast paced technology company and a leader in the world of data centers. The Logistics Materials Associate reviews Lab inventory, in-bound shipments, and ongoing demand to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained in the all locations to support build and repair activities. Working with the site Facility Manager, they create plans to optimize the flow of parts through their life cycle; tracking inventory location, movement, age, and turns. They work closely with Engineers to fulfill parts quickly and accurately. They work with Procurement and Hardware Engineering to purchase new parts and interface directly with vendors to process RMAs and receive replacements. They have ongoing communications with vendors to resolve issues and help them understand our business requirements. Responsibilities include manual tasks, such as assembling, addressing, stamping and arranging for the shipment of merchandise and materials. They may also assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to and from production locations. Handling incoming and outgoing shipments, he or she may have to pack/unpack boxes and verify contents. The Logistics Materials Associate will contribute in process improvement efforts to find easier and faster ways to manage inventory and serve customers.

Basic Qualifications
· High School diploma
· 3+ year of experience in shipping & receiving, inventory and warehousing practices.
· 3+ years of experience with inventory tracking and data analytics
· 1+ years of material forecasting experience
· Must be able to lift loads of up to 49 pounds and carry them for short distances
· A driver's license is required
Preferred Qualifications
· 1+ years of experience working in a Data Center
· WMS/IMS proficiency
· Associates or Bachelor’s Degree

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $43,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $92,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
