Job Title: Operations Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our growing business. In this role, you will work closely with employees, customers, and other stakeholders to improve the business and ensure compliance with regulations. You will be responsible for bringing fresh ideas and challenging current processes, while converting materials and labor into goods and services as efficiently as possible. Strong interpersonal skills are crucial as you will work alongside the CEO and CFO.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the business, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time.

• Collaborate with employees, customers, and stakeholders to improve business practices and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Introduce and implement innovative ideas to challenge and improve current processes.

• Ensure efficient conversion of materials and labor into goods and services.

• Work closely with the CEO and CFO to align operational goals with business objectives.

Essential Skills

• Operations management

• Supervision

• Lean manufacturing

• Six Sigma Green Belt

• Strong interpersonal skills

• Experience in a manufacturing setting (minimum 5 years)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and tracking systems (SAP or similar)

• Ability to anticipate and meet deadlines for current and prospective clients

• Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt)

• Experience with LEAN manufacturing principles

Work Environment

This position operates on a 1st shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with the flexibility to stay later when needed. Our company currently employs 95 individuals, with a close-knit team of 20 office staff and the remainder working on the floor. Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Kent, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
