Job Title: Maintenance Lead
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have advanced mechanical knowledge of rotating equipment and be responsible for executing preventative maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring the efficient repair of plant equipment.
Responsibilities
Execute Preventative Maintenance (PM) as outlined by the PM Program for existing equipment, new installations, buildings, and structures.
Diagnose and troubleshoot rotating equipment.
Effectively and efficiently repair plant equipment as required.
Perform cost savings analysis periodically for parts and equipment.
Coordinate with contractors as necessary.
Proactively identify potential mechanical/electrical failures and rectify issues.
Maintain relations with suppliers.
Adhere to environmental and safety rules including Lock out/Tag out, confined space entry, and spill remediation.
Maintain repair parts inventory for scheduled repairs, preventative maintenance, and critical spare parts.
Maintain a clean and organized work area including storage cabinets and toolboxes.
Adhere to Safety standards and PPE requirements.
Provide daily maintenance department support.
the person monthly, quarterly, and yearly service maintenance.
Order needed supplies for the warehouse.
Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
Advanced mechanical knowledge of rotating equipment.
Strong troubleshooting skills.
Experience with mechanical, facilities, forklift operation, conveyor maintenance, basic electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance procedures.
2+ years of maintenance experience.
Strong mechanical background and basic electrical experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with environmental and safety rules.
Ability to maintain relations with suppliers.
Experience in cost savings analysis.

Work Environment
The work environment is clean with two production lines in house. The company manufactures artificial turf and grass for golf courses. Scheduled hours for maintenance are 6:00am-3:00pm, but typically work from 6:00am-4:00pm.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, Illinois.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00
