Job Summary
Responsible for assembly of product as well as accurately picking and filling orders to meet customer delivery schedules while in compliance with all company, state and federal safety rules and regulations.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Loading / unloading product
- Shipping and receiving of material
- Light material assembly
- Perform warehouse maintenance
- Packaging of material for shipping
- Performs any and all other job-related tasks as assigned by direct supervisor
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
Qualifications and Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-year experience Preferred
- Forklift Certificate Preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Verbal communication
- Strong Proficiency in phone-based communication
- Basic computer skills
- Attention to detail
Physical Requirements
- Standing -- frequent to continuous
- Walking -- frequent
- Bending/stooping -- frequent
- Squatting/kneeling -- occasional
- Gripping/manipulation -- frequent
- Lift and carry up to 50+ lbs., on an occasional basis floor to waist
Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee operates in a moderate noise level environment. This position occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and uses standard heavy equipment and tools.
