Job Description Summary Responsible for the receiving operations area in a food production environment over the course of a shift. Evaluate cut quality to ensure recovery and throughput is being maximized. Night Shift Job Description * Ensure all GMP and PPE policies and procedures are being followed. * Assist in training existing and new team members in equipment LOTO and operations. * Give direction to team members in and around the cutter bay area. * Perform hourly checks and logs of cutter area equipment. * Observe production processes to detect issues and minimize and/or eliminate loses. * Assist cutter tech assistants with cutter setups for accuracy. * Make cutter head adjustments and changes when needed. * Troubleshoot poor cutter performance to minimize downtime. * Communicates issues to the Production Team Leader and process Leads * Keeps detailed logs of equipment downtime and process events. * Assists in plant cleaning during defrost/sanitation periods along with chemical application. * Be able to safely start/shut down the equipment (including LO/TO) following start checklist. * Perform AMD to Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions * Observe and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that settings conform to production or processing standards. * Be able to handle chemicals and apply them during sanitation periods. * Be able to complete Personal Qualification Requirements. * Set, maintain, and improve work area. * Follow all company policies and procedures. * Other tasks as assigned by Production Lead and/or Production Team Leader. Basic & Preferred Qualifications • Experience in a frozen food manufacturing facility preferred. • Basic Computer Skills • Able to stand for long periods of time. • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. • Good communication skills • High School Diploma or GED or 1 year of food manufacturing experience • 6 months in an operator/lead type role. • Ability to follow directions. • Ability to work as a team Industry-Competitive Benefits Coupled with our compensation and bonus incentive programs, our benefits deliver rewards that are market competitive.
