As a Manager in Customer Accounting & Payment Services (CAPS), you will be the cornerstone in maintaining the world class culture we enjoy by driving associate engagement and development. This role is critical in ensuring the company is providing best in class service to our customers, store locations, and vendors in various payment/invoice functions, and that we are doing so with optimal efficiency, compliance, and accuracy.

What you will do

Providing leadership to a team of hourly, non-exempt associates and effective oversight ensuring that customer payments and other transactions are posted to customer accounts and other processes are completed in accordance with policies, procedures and company expectations within specified timeframes.

  • Fueling the talent pipeline by hiring the right people, appropriately assessing, coaching, and developing the associates to meet their potential.

  • Driving associate engagement through targeted activities and interactions.

  • Ensuring daily balancing and reconciliation of account activity is completed timely and accurately.

  • Being a change leader and effectively managing change to ensure your team and others embrace change.

What you need to succeed:

  • A proven track record in a management role or successful completion of the company management development program

  • Ability to champion change, effectively influence others and work well in a team-based environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate, both in writing and verbally, with all levels across the organization and motivate and engage a team of associates.

  • Strong analytical skills, ability to identify trends and react accordingly.

  • Proven planning, organization, and time-management skills to ensure self and team can meet the needs of the business.

  • Ability to handle difficult or unexpected situations and complex business challenges.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • One to three years related leadership experience

  • Experience in a back office, call center and/or auto finance environment preferred

  • Moderate competency in Microsoft Office Suite
