Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in the Insurance industry, based in Kennesaw, Georgia, United States. This role involves processing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Processing transactions for production teams based on the states they have been assigned, within the deadlines set by those state entities

• Completing and filing accurate tax reports on a regular basis to meet timeliness and payment requirements for each state

• Running reports and verifying data to ensure the accuracy of information

• Updating databases as appropriate and maintaining appropriate documentation to support tax filings

• Researching, monitoring, and implementing changes required to ensure compliance with each state’s surplus lines requirements

• Assisting with the development and implementation of changes on surplus lines procedures for the office to ensure regulatory compliance

• Assisting with surplus lines audits – verifying transactions, documents, and filings

• Working closely with relevant departments and personnel on surplus lines transaction processing and reporting to ensure data and reporting integrity

• Handling other related projects as assigned. Requirements • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word

• Demonstrated skill in Organizing Files

• Experience in performing Data Entry tasks with accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to perform calculations and handle numerical data

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to handle customer queries

• Proficiency in Typing with a high speed and accuracy

• Experience in scanning documents and maintaining digital records

• Familiarity with the insurance industry is a plus

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
